What is your name, age and occupation?
Chris McDowell, 56, Office Manager for a Market Research Company"
"Have you learned anything about yourself since training at CrossFit Gaia? How has
CFG changed you since joining? (e.g. affected your day to day life mentally or
Apart from dealing with various injuries & surgeries I have lived with a
chronic illness now for around 12 years. My fitness, stamina & mobility
was deteriorating so much due to the terrible whole-body nerve pain &
chronic fatigue I struggle with each & every day. Fibromyalgia is a silent
illness, very debilitating both physically & mentally.
However, since I started working with CrossFit Gaia my mechanical movement has
became easier, so much so I can now put my socks on without sitting,
squirming around on the floor. Sounds crazy to most people but believe
me it’s a major breakthrough for me…..& my chronic fatigue “crashes”
have considerably reduced.
Thanks to the Team I am now reaping the benefits of CFG. I can feel &
see the difference, my confidence is growing too knowing that no matter
how fatigued or pained I am feeling coming into a session I am still
PB’ing in some way each session with either performance, movement or
my lifting ability thanks to the encouragement received."
