Nutritional therapy at CrossFit Gaia is nutritional support that starts at the beginning and goes further than just calorie counting. It’s a process to ensure that you develop and learn about your own nutrition and how to achieve the right levels of nutrients required for you.
We offer three levels of nutrition at CrossFit Gaia.
Beginner: Our beginner package will be based on helping you learn how to track your food and become familiar with the process. At this stage we just look to help you clean up your diet, and make sure you are getting an adequate amount of calories to support your new training regime. This will be tailored to your personally so you get what you require through food and make sure your body systems are being supported.
Intermediate: Our Intermediate package will further look at how your calorie allocation should be broken down and teach you about macronutrients, and how to track these. Getting your macronutrients right can mean that the common problems after intense exercise (such as muscle aches, poor sleep, tiredness, lethargy and low energy levels) can be successfully managed and often improved. This means you can reach your optimal health and consequently achieve your fitness and performance goals in all areas of life.
RX Package: Breaking it all down to the nitty gritty. Different energy systems require fuelling at different times for optimal performance. If you have spent 2 months at Intermediate level then this is the package for you.
Here's the beauty of it. All of our packages are the same price and run month to month. So you can upgrade at anytime.
First off we have to complete an initial consultation. This will take an hour.
During your consultation will look at your diet and lifestyle along with looking at your current health and aiming to support any additional health issues you may have. We can also use body composition analysis to monitor your progress which gives you detailed information such as your body fat percentage & lean muscle mass, plus the tools to help you reach your goals.
We will then work out your personal plan, and have it to you by email within 48hours. Each month we will require some updated information from you, and will adjust your nutritional needs accordingly, this way you will always stay on track and adjusted to your current nutritional needs.

Not an athlete at Gaia? No problem. We offer Nutrition for athletes from anywhere and can consult and provide all of our packages remotely.
